Pieces of painted (oil) canvas that have been heavily shot with a 12 gauge shotgun which were then stapled and sewn onto a painted stretched canvas.  There are three layers, with the bottom most layer painted with ribbons chasing worms.  The entire painting hangs from a welded steel base that can accommodate either horizontal or vertical display.
